Faneuil Hall Marketplace Announces New Openings and Property Enhancements
BOSTON (May 27, 2026) – Faneuil Hall Marketplace is excited to announce a series of developments to one of Boston’s most iconic and beloved destinations. At the forefront is the opening of Tree House Brewing Company at Quincy Market, as well as a dynamic lineup of new vendors to elevate and strengthen the current offering.
With seven destination-driven gathering spaces across Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut, Tree House Brewing Company has become one of the country’s most recognized craft brewery and hospitality brands. The opening marks the company’s latest expansion and further demonstrates the Marketplace’s commitment to evolving as a leading food and beverage destination in Boston.
“Tree House Brewing Company, founded in 2011 in Central Massachusetts, is honored to serve our beverages at Faneuil Hall Marketplace this summer, during America's 250th year. The restoration work that ownership is doing here, down to the original cobblestones, reflects a genuine reverence for this iconic place. We're grateful to be part of this new chapter and to share what we make with our Boston friends.”
Throughout the spring and summer, a variety of local favorites and household names will make their debut at the Marketplace, echoing Boston’s vibrant and diverse character. At Quincy Market in the main hall, there will be new outposts including Smashed by BRED, known for its award-winning burgers, and The Maharaja, a favorite of Casey Affleck that serves Boston’s finest Indian cuisine. In addition, Azul Mexican Kitchen, by restaurateur Dan Leyva, formerly of Taco Azul, Wings Over, Tacombi, 7th Street Burger, and more, along with Mona Sweets offering coffee and chocolate, will be opening stalls. North and South Markets will welcome international sweets boutique Captain Candy and Iris Galerie.
J. Safra Real Estate, as part of its long-term commitment to ensure that Faneuil Hall Marketplace is a best-in-class destination for Bostonians and visitors, is in the process of conducting essential repair and maintenance work on the property. These meaningful physical improvements will enrich the experience across the Marketplace, enhancing the overall appearance and functionality of the site, while remaining respectful of the character and community that define it. This work is being led by Boston-based firm, Commodore Builders, and includes resetting most of the granite pavers and cobbles as well as targeted cleaning, painting, and general upkeep, addressing maintenance and preparing the property for the upcoming summer season. J. Safra Real Estate looks forward to providing further updates as the work progresses.
To support these developments, CBRE’s strong Boston team has been brought on board to implement best practices for operating the site.
Together, these efforts will continue to position Faneuil Hall Marketplace as a welcoming gathering place where residents, workers, and visitors experience the best of Boston’s history, commerce, and community.
