BIO: Madelyn Paquette is taking the female-country music scene by storm. She began singing at age two, songwriting and playing the guitar and piano by ten, winning songwriting competitions and earning prestigious awards from the National YoungArts Foundation by 17. Madelyn captures her experiences in lyrics mature beyond her years, hoping her listeners are able to relate and connect to her music. Though her heart lies in the storytelling and instrumentation of country music, her pop background helps her transcend traditional country music barriers. Madelyn’s influencers include Maren Morris, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, local success singer-songwriter Lori McKenna, and late pop/R&B singer-songwriter Christina Grimmie. From performing at NASCAR, PBS/WGBH Sing That Thing!, to participating in international competitions with her a cappella groups, she also performs regularly at local events including farmers markets, restaurants and open mics, has performed at Miami’s New World Symphony, the Berklee Performance Center and Café 939, and was recently invited to audition for American Idol. Check out Madelyn’s 2016 debut EP! Songs available on iTunes and Spotify. You can also follow her on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and SoundCloud to catch her latest music.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT PERFORMING AT FANEUIL HALL MARKETPLACE? The best thing about playing at Faneuil Hall for sure connecting with so many people through music. There’s nothing more thrilling than performing and having a huge crowd gather. Little kids dance, couples hold hands and sing along to their favorite love songs, and it’s awesome meeting (and of course taking selfies with) visitors from other countries. I actually met a good friend of mine from Sweden at Faneuil Hall earlier this summer!
